Great sketch today...

I used Rich Razzleberry and Whisperer White card stock.  My dsp is from the International Bazaar.  The middle layer is stamped with the "Papillion Potpourii" stamp set in Daffodil Delight, then  I came back and restamped using Rich Razzleberry.

I stamped the butterfly again on Rich Razzleberry using Craft White Ink and used embossing powder.  I then punched it out using the new butterfly punch, then popped it up on dimensionals with some Jewels on his body.

The edging is using the Scallop Trim Punch and added some Jewels for more effect.

The lower dsp was scored, but hard to capture in the photo.

Three in one!

I've been a bit busy lately (not by chose) of course.  So I have combined three challenges for this card.  Last weeks sketch, the color from Tuesday and today's tile technique.  And of course use PINK whenevery possible!

The stamps are Simply Soft (SU) and Beautiful Butterflies (RI).  The ink and card stock are White, Regal Rose, Blushing Bride and Lucky Limeade.

I also used Gold Embossing which is the dessert for the color challenge.

I sponged the color on the butterfly.  The little fence looking trim is Diamond Fence Trim from Martha Stewart and two pieces are punched and off set before gluing together.

daiseyfreak

It was so such fun to get back to my room and play.  I have had grands for two weeks.  Love them dearly, but at the ages they are you can't play much...I did do two cards, but did not post them here.  Not time!  Just about the time I got them posted to SCS I could hear them rustling around and waking up.  I also had my other son visiting from Germany with his three children during that time.  So the house was full and FUN!

I do not know how she came by that name.  "daiseyfreak" has a large gallery with loads of cards and so beautiful.

This is the card I went with ~ Blooming Birthday Wishes, her first.

I used white on white cardstock with some Cherry Cobbler.  I scored the white back panel.  Used the Scallop Trim Punch on the Cherry Cobbler.

The top panel I used Crumb Cake to stamp the writing then used Stampin Write pens to color the flower image in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.  Tied a ribbon and used dimensionals for some of the layers.  I also stamped a little butterfly in Daffodil Delight.

Hope You Can Cling To/Breast Awareness

I've done three challenges for SCS for today...they will also be part of several to be mailed and used by the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center for patients being treated for breast cancer.  Been there ~ done that.  I was diagnosised and treated for Breast Cancer in 2006.  Went through the chemo and radiation.

The first is to make a holiday card with pink.  I picked Christmas!

I used Pretty in Pink with Certainly Celery for this card.  Snow Swirled is the stamp set I used.  I adorned it with the new jewels SU has.  I also stamped some snow flakes around it with Craft Whisper White.  The sentiment was punched with the retired key tag punch. I also used to score pal in the background.

My next we are to use lace and lingerie if possible.

I found this lace I had never opened with these nice pearls and thought it would do nicely.  I layered Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo card stock.  I used the stamp set by Skipping Stones Design called Bra Volume #2 and stamped it in Melon Mambo ink.

Next up use brown as you would black.  Easy I love the look of Pink and brown together.

My cardstock is Early Expresso and Pink Pirouette.  I used the Scallop Trim Punch along the bottom and added pearls.  I used the Eastern Blooms stamp set and inked it in Pink Pirouette and Early Expresso.  I applied pearls to the flower branch as well.  For the sentiment I used the Curvy Verses Stamp Set.

Today's color challenge is More Mustard, Melon Mambo, Baja Breeze and any neutral needed.  Also to have it go over the edge...best way to describe it.  So I made this card, took the picture and posted it on SCS.  Later really looked at it and realized I needed to go ahead and add my inside layer to make the card really pop!

So here is the second picture I took of the final product minus the sentiment!

I think this is a really cute card.  But the picture is not working for me.  I used versamark on the owl's little vests with the itty bitty background.  To give it some dimension.

Supplies:

Cardstock  ~  More Mustard, Melon Mambo, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip

Stamp Set  ~  Itty Bitty Background

Ink  ~  VersaMark

Accessories  ~  VV Ribbon, Owl Punch, Scallop Trim Punch, Mat Pack
