daiseyfreak

It was so such fun to get back to my room and play.  I have had grands for two weeks.  Love them dearly, but at the ages they are you can't play much...I did do two cards, but did not post them here.  Not time!  Just about the time I got them posted to SCS I could hear them rustling around and waking up.  I also had my other son visiting from Germany with his three children during that time.  So the house was full and FUN!

I do not know how she came by that name.  "daiseyfreak" has a large gallery with loads of cards and so beautiful.

This is the card I went with ~ Blooming Birthday Wishes, her first.

I used white on white cardstock with some Cherry Cobbler.  I scored the white back panel.  Used the Scallop Trim Punch on the Cherry Cobbler.

The top panel I used Crumb Cake to stamp the writing then used Stampin Write pens to color the flower image in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.  Tied a ribbon and used dimensionals for some of the layers.  I also stamped a little butterfly in Daffodil Delight.

OLW49 Pink & Green

This is a first time trying a challenge with this group.  It was fun.

We are to use a stamp never inked and use the colors Pink and Green.  I have not used the stamp from the Oval All set.  I used Pretty in Pink and Garden Green.  I stamped it on then used the Scor-Pal to give it a little more pop.

Color Challenge

We are to use Concord Crush, Bashful Blue and Pear Pizzazz colors today.  They work very well together.  For dessert we can use white gel pen.  I am still watching my diet so I skipped it again this week.  Yes I have finally dropped 3.5 lbs.  It's so hard!!!

I used the Dream du Jour stamp set stamped in black.  I colored it in the colors for today.  Punched it out with a round punch.  Did not like the results so I punched out the black with the large round scalloped punch and cut the top section out on the stamped and punched image.  Gives it a unique look.

I scored the white card stock for the background and added a white ribbon.  Thanks for looking and hope you like today's card.

Featured Stamper "n5stamper"

n5stamper is on the radar today.  She has lots of wonderful cards and a large gallery.  I did a card of her first upload and was so unhappy with it I tossed it.  I don't recall ever doing that.

So I spent about an hour trying to decide on another.

Anyway this is her card I picked ~ Greeting with Gerbers.

I did not have any glitter paper that was matched so I scored the back panel.

I used Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight (cut out with Nestabilities) and white card stock.  I used an old stamp called jumbo "Iris" from Embossing Arts Co.

I colored it with copics ~ {RV55, RV63, RV66, Y08, YG63, YG67}.  Sponged around the outside with sponge daubers.

Tillymints is a winner!

The featured stamper today has some wonderful cards.  I like doing the first and thus I am not forced to try and pick one.

Her first  ~ Blue Daisy ~ I do like.  I changed the colors to white for the base and Rose Red DSP from the subtles collection. I picked a different stamp set, though it is similiar, it is called Thinking of you from Hero Arts.  I used craft ink in Rose Red and used clear embossing powder on it to make it stand out.

I made a flower from the pretties kit and used a random brad to hold it together.  For the image I cut the stamped image out from Nestabilities labels sixteen and then squared the side.  The DSP I scored with the Scor-Pal.  The base DSP I used the e-k success embossed curved punch (there is three curves in the paper).

Have a great Sunday ~ the weather is fantastic here!
