Happy Father's Day!

Today was a very slow day and I did not get to make a card until kind of late.   Today the featured stamper is someone I am not familiar with.  But loads of beautiful cards.

Her card I picked (the first of course) can be seen here called  "Tri-Floral Mother's Day card".

I changed the colors, stampes, and tweaked the layout a bit. Left off the bow too.

I used "Fabulous Florets" and "Just Believe" stamp sets from Stampin' Up!.  My ink and card stock are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.  My dsp is from Sumemr Smooches.

All the punches are Scallop Square, Square, Word Window and Modern Label.

On the dsp is used the Stripes Embossing Folder.  Added some Jewels (pearls) and done.

LittleSeaOtter is the Featured Stamper on SplitCoastStamper today.  She has some wonderful cards to pick from.  But I don't like to pick so I just go back to the very begining and case the first.

You can check out her card here called ~  Hobo Bum.

My stamps are from the Fabulous Florets Set.  The flowers are stamped with craft Melon Mambo ink and then applied embossing powder. I cut them out and popped them on with dimensionals.  I paper pierced the corners for a little more dimension.  The background dsp is from the Flirtatious series.  The other colors used are Old Olive and Pretty in Pink.  The strip is punched using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch.  Then added a button in the corner.

Have a great Sunday and take care.

Today our fun challenge is to use vellum...which I love.  I didn't go into great detail today with it.  I am multitasking and knew I would have a load of interruptions.

Plus our Internet is having problems and the powers that be say it should be back up tomorrow.  Lucky me I have back up!  Have we not become addicted...

I took my peice of vellum and ran it throught the Big Shot using the Tulip Embossing folder.  Then I used the ever new and popular stamp set Fabulous Florets and stamped the greenier in Garden Green.  Stamped the lovely flower in Cherry Cobbler on it then again on Whisper White and cut it out and mounted it on dimensionals.  Then used the Happy Greeting for the sentiment.  I still had the leftover piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock out from yesterday and used it to put it all together.

Photos don't always tell a true story.  I like the end results!

Today a simple layout was introduced on SCS.  I really like it and I think everyone that saw it did as well.   Quite a few have made several cards with it.

I took the new Delicate Doilies and stamped on my Cherry Cobbler cardstock with White Craft ink.  Then used some DSP from Basic Grey for the band.  The colors are a perfect match.  I used Very Vanilla and Whisper White for the center panel.  I used my new favorite Fabulous Florets for stamping on it.  I stamped the background in Pear Pizzazz, then used Cherry Cobbler and stamped the flower on top and again on another piece of White and cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals.  Then used Cherry Cobbler for the sentiment.  I also placed some elements in the corner.

Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by.

I have been out of town with the husband attending an educational seminar in Hilton Head, SC. and let me tell you it was HOT as usual.  I just wish one year we could go when the weather is semi cool and enjoy walking on the beach during the day!!!

Today we are to use Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette & Melon Mamba with any neutrals we may need.  Dessert is round embellishments.  Well back to the recent trip, I don't need dessert for the next month.

My card uses all the colors of cardstock plus white.  I stamped and used VersaMark and clear embossing powder on the two flowers in the front of the card and popped them up using dimensionals after cutting them out.  In the background I used Old Olive for the leaves and Melon Mamba for the rest of the flowers in the background.  All of the stamps are from the Fabulous Florets.  A very versatile set from Stampin' Up!
