Today was a quick and neat layout (though I took a while longer cutting out the flowers).  I stamped the image twice then cut out flowers and popped them using dimensionals.

My cardstock colors are Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz and White.  I used Stamin' Write Pens in Pretty in Pink, Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz to color the stamped images from Heartfelt Creations.  They are from the iris/posy collection.  I also added a little glitter pen to the centers of the flowers.

I used nestabilites run through the Big Shot for the ovals.  Then added the row of Jewels.

Yesterday we where to use Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Crumb Cake.  I went a bit masculine...

The stamp is from the "Elementary Elegance" set.  And stamped in Craft Night of Navy, then I used clear embossing powder (has a nice glossy, but couldn't get a good picture of it).  The Happy Birthday is also stamped in Night of Navy Classic.  I used the corner round punch.  The Crumb Cake background is run throught the Big Shot using the Stripes embossing folder.

101  Airborne is the featured stamper for today at SCS.  I have been to her gallery and seen her work, she does a wonderful job.

Her first card uploaded can be seen here ~ SU - Of the Earth.

I used Real Red, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette and Bella Bleu (retired) DSP.  The stamp is from "Valentine Love" stamped in Real Red.  Jewels are put into the lover right corner of the front panel.

As you can see there are many layers and I changed her card from A2 and used 5 1/2 inch square here.
I had fun with this layout and will use it again.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and enjoy your Sunday.

The challenge for today is the make a Valentine Card with out using red or pink, not easy, but doable.

I went with White and Black and glitter!

The base black cardstock I used the Stripes embossing folder on. Then some ribbon to use as a holder for the sentiment panel (cut using Framelits).  The sentiment is from the "Valentine Love" stamp set.  I used the big shot to cut out the Glimmer paper hearts.  Added some Jewels and a quick card is done.

TFSB.

My card for today is two challenges over at SCS.

The sketch is different and thought I's make it a shadow card (that's what they are calling it in honor of ground hog day).

The buttom flap is about 2 1/2 inches.  So you are seeing what is paritally inside.  You have the option of opening it or gluing it down to use for a give card, etc.

I used the new "Creative Elements" stamp set from SU.  The flower is inked with Craft Cajun Craze and embossing powder was applied and heated.  The background is stamped with the same stamp with classic Cajun Craze.  The front panel is stamped in black and colored in Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and Cajun Craze.  The front flap panel I cut using edgelits adorning accents.

The challenge today on SCS is to use White, Indigo Island and Pool Party.  Plus I had another challenge given to me.  Patty a new friend in town gave me the sentiment stamp today and said make a card with it.  So here it is...

I used the challenge colors only.  The layers for the sentiment are from Nestabilities Labels Four and Large Labels.  I also added jewels.  The other stamp used is from Rubber Cottage called "Long Wide Border".

The sentiment is called "I Count You Twice"  and is from Stampabilities.

The background embossing is from Quikutz called "Vines".

My ink is Island Indigo.

Thanks for stopping by.

"wannabcre8tive" is the featured stamper on SCS today.  Large and wonderful gallery to pick from.

The card stock is White and Pacific Point.  The stamp is from HeroArts called Birthday Gift.  I stamped it in four colors (Real Red, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight) and cut the sections out.  The background is Happy Birthday Embossinbg Folder.  I added two buttons.

Her card can be seen here ~ Unfroggettable frogs Yellow and Green .

Needed a card for my brother...his birthday is Monday.  Being all boy/man I know he would not like anything with bows, etc.  Though I am using pearls!

I used White and Night of Navy cardstock.  The ink is also Night of Navy.  I used two embossing folders, Happy Birthday & Frills.  The white edge is Scallop 3 dot from MS.  I also added jewels (pearls) and the sentiment is stamped from Perfect Punches and punched out using the large oval punch.

No stamps today!  Not a bit of ink on my fingers.

We are to use Basic Black, Lucky Limeade and Poppy Parade.  Our dessert is to use Embossing Folders...2.  But opted out on sweets.

I was stumped for a bit until jumping on using the Bigz Lattice Die.  This was fun and decided after assembling it and having a cup of coffee.  It only needed the pearls.  I had all kind of thoughts about puting a big flower on it.  But kept it simple.

Today the featured stamper is "Luv Flowers" over on SplitCoastStamper.  I am familiar with this lady's delightful gallery and she has some beautiful cards.

Her first card, can be seen here:  Bright Wishes on Valentine's Day.

I changed just about everything with the exception of the theme...

My cardstock is White and Real Red.  I used the new Heart Framelits to make to two heart punches in the white section..  I then stamped and punched out the rounds.  These are done in Craft black and stampin' write pens in Old Olive, Real Red and Chocolate Chip.  I used deminsionals on the popped up sections.

The stamp set used is called "P. S. I Love You".

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Sunday evening.

Everything is coming up pink.  Seems I am doing lots of pink on my cards.

Today on SCS we are to use Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette and Rose Red.  They are lovely together and perfect for Valentine's Day.

I choose Rose Red for the base color on my card.  Then picked dsp in Pretty in Pink and Pink Pirouette for the backgound paper, stamped from the Delicate Doilies in Rose Red then ran it through the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.

I took double sided sticky sheets and the heart punch to make the little hearts. The glitter is from SU in white.

I used the Matchbox die for the sentiment from the Grateful Greetings Set.  Then cut out a rectangle to go around that.

Today's featured stamper I have admired since she started making cards on split coast stampers!  She has loads of talent.  Her SCS name is "Holstein".

I used this card of her's ~ Packer birthday Hambo Stamp to case.  I am not so sure I have done her justice though.

I know lots of pink, but it's for my youngest granddaughter, she is turning 1 next week.  Her Momma calls her Honey Bear.  And she wears pink alot.

My card stock colors are White, Regal Rose and Blushing Bride.  The ink used is Black and Regal Rose.  I used Stampin' Write Pens to color her (the bear) they are {Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Regal Rose}.  I also used a silver pen and white pen.

The frame(s) around the bear is the new Framelits from Stampin' Up!  The embossing folder is the "Elegant Bouquet", and I use a scallop corner punch on the rectangles.

Ths stamping is from the Bear Best Friends and Beary Nice Wishes stamp sets.

Hope you have a wonderful week ahead and thanks for stopping by!

Here's a card prompted by a new acquaintance!

Patty brought over a sample sketch base.  Of course I was intrigued and finally was able to make a card today.  It's called diagonal double pocket.

I had so much fun with it.  I will finish it next month with sentiment, etc. when I send it off to one of my grandson's for his birthday.

And the little tag.

I used a piece of stock from the Sweet Pea DSP.  I added Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron card stock for my other colors.  My ink is Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Black.  The hole is 1/2 inch punch.  The decor on one of the pockets is the Scallop Trim Punch with a bit of White Satin Ribbon.  The Stamps are from "Up, Up and Away".

The details and directions for making this fun card can be found om SplitCoastStampers, here ~

Have some fun with it!

I did not have a chance to play yesterday over on SCS , so I have combined yesterday and today.  We are to use Blushing Bride. Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze with an option to add a flower.  I don't think this card needs a flower...

Well I guess the embossing in the background could be classified as flowers!

I used Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder on the Blushing Bride.  I used Baja Breeze as a frame on both panels.  I stamped my image in black from the "My Friend" stamp set and colored it using Stampin Write pens in Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze.  I also used some Bling as buttons to finish it off with a bit of scrappers floss.

Thanks for stopping by!

My 200th post.

Today's featured stamper "pamshobby" has some wonderful cards.   But sticking to my problem of trying to pick one I go with the first card.   Her first card ~ My first upload card ~ can be seen here.

I used Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, White and Bravo Burgandy card stock.  My ink is Crumb Cake.

To position the "Delicate Doilies" stamp set on the white I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig.  Also stamped on Crumb Cake with another doilies stamp and punched it out with the Round Punch (1 3/4) .  On the card base I stamped in Crumb Cake with larger doily stamps.  Then layer and glued the different layers of card stock.

I kept the card pretty close to her card.  Changed the colors, stamps, but kept close to the general layout.

Hey, Hey, Hey!!!  Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and safe New Year.

I am back to making cards and loving it!

The color challenge over at SCS is Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Basic Gray and neutrals (Ivory or White), then dessert, something new!

Pretty self explanatory,  Used the Apothecary Art Stamp Set and stamped it using Basic Gray and Lucky Limeade.

The frame is the new Framelits from Stampin Up! cut out using Island Indigo card stock.

Thanks for stopping by.

SplitCoastStampers gave us the challenge of using a card from our saved favorites from the site and make a card today.

I have saved alot...and forgotten to look at them later.  This was a real treat.  Some I forgot about others I could not remember why I would have saved them.

The card I chose can be seen here ~  Simply Snow Swirled ~

I do love this stamp so it was an easy one to pick and use.  My card stock is white annd Always Artichoke.  I used nestabilites and the Snowflakes embossing folder in the backgrounds.

After stamping the tree I used Glitter Dome stickers.  Then added the ribbon and bow.

My Sketch Challenge card was quick and fun.  I was out all day.  Lunch with friends and then the dentist (oh what fun!).

The card stock colors are Old Olive, Black, White and Cherry Cobbler.  I flip the sketch to accommodate the stamp set "Merry and Type".

I scored the AA & CC card stock in the backgrounds to give it a little dimension.  Colored the bulbs with Pear Pizzazz, Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive.  Used silver and gold gel pens.  And it done.  I like the end result.

The color challenge is Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler & Always Artichoke and I added Very Vanilla to it over on SplitCoastStampers.

I used the Yuletide Christmas & Snow Swirled Stamp Sets from Stampin Up!  The wreath is Always Artichoke in craft ink and then clear embossed.  Assembled then finished with a bow.

Today the featured stamper is "pegmac71" over at splitcoaststampers.  She has some beautiful cards and I have admired many of them.  She is a great designer.

Her first upload ~ Stardust Square ~ is the card I picked to make my own.  I changed the colors, the theme, but stayed with the over all design.

The stamps I used are "Four the Holidays", "Tweet Top Hat" and "Jolly Ornaments".

The cardstock colors are White, Real Red, Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz & Vellum.  I used VersaMark and Black Embossing Powder.  I used copics on the top hat and birds {E39, E35, G17, G09, W9, 110, R27, R29}.  For the ornaments I used Real Red, Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz.  On the Vellum I used Real Red.

The Glitter domes are from Elements "Marc Richards".
