Beautiful Bunch

I was not able to play along with yesterday's fun No-Iron technique challenge...so I used it with the color challenge for today on SplitCoastStampers!

So first I took a piece of crumbled wax paper and dipped it in the VersaMark ink.  The sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat set.  There you have your base panel.  Or making your own designed series paper.

The side was the Scallop Trim Edge Punch in Sahara Sand.  The flowers are stamped with Hello Honey ink on the same paper. All the flowers are punched out using Petite Petal and Fun Flower Punches.

The stem and little leaves are cut out with Flower Fair Framelits Die, then I sponged the color before removing the give it some depth.

Then put it together...hope you like it!

And stay cool!

Blooming with Kindness ~ A dozen Thoughts ~ Papillon Potpourri

Love the colors for today...Crispy Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Garden Green.  Our dessert option is a sentiment on the front.  I prefer to leave it off until I decide how I will use the card, but like the effect this added.

The flower I stamped in the darker color and love this!

I stamped the butterfly on the card. The stamped it on a scrap.  Punched out the stamped image and an unstamped image for the layers. To give it real dimension.

My sentiment is stamped in vellum and I added some Jewel Pearls.

Thanks for looking...

Flower Shop ~ Petite Petals ~ Bloom with Hope

I am really enjoying my time on the Color Challenge Team...

This week we are to use Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.  Our dessert is to use white embossing anywhere on the card.

As you can see I'm having dessert!!!  Probably don't need it.  I'm carrying around a few extra pounds I need to work off.  Too much sitting with the hubby.

I also used the Pansy Punch, Petite Punch, Ball Stylus, White Craft Ink, Stylish Stripes Embossing folder and White Embossing Powder.  The added touch of Jewel Pearls and ribbon (bow).

Thanks for looking and have a good day!

A Dozen Thoughts ~ Six-Sided Sampler ~ Pedaling Past

Fun sketch, though it did give me pause for a bit.  The circle layer was overwhelming and I changed it to a rectangle bicycle instead of a (rather large) flower I had originally made.

My colors are Bermuda Bay, Very Vanilla and Basic Gray.  The designer series paper is from the Birthday Basic collection.

I used several stamp sets, "A Dozen Thoughts", Six-Sided Sampler" and "Pedaling Past".

The side panel area was made using the Hexagon Punch.

`  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `  `

I was chosen to be on the Color Challenge team for the month of May at Split Coast Stampers.  Fun! Fun!

My first week's card was to use Basic Black, Whisper White and Pool Party.  Dessert was to use stenciling...which I forgot to incorporate into my card! But I don't need dessert these days.

A fun and simple card.  My stamp is from the "Serene Silhouettes" set.

I got those perfect ovals using the Oval Framelits Collection.  Added some Jewel Pearls and a cute bow.

Serene Silhouettes ~ Gorgeous Grunge

I've been MIA for some time.  My husband had surgery, had a set back, ended up in the hospital for a total for 5 weeks.  He's doing better now, but has a very long road to recovery.  I am able now to get back to my favorite thing...inking up my fingers and playing with paper.

First up is this weeks Color Challenge.  A simple card.  I like it and hope you do too!

These are unique colors to work with.  I used "Gorgeous Grunge" stamp set to ink up the top panel.  I then used the oval framelits to cut out the center portion.  I used the "Serene Silhouettes" the stamp the center tree silhouette.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

This is last weeks and I used the hexagon hive thinlits and the hexagon punch.  My stamps are from the "Six Sided Sampler".

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The sketch challenge had a simple layout.  Again I used the Oval Framelits. The Triangle punch was used for the end pieces.

The Stamps are from "Tea Party" and "Geometrical".

Thanks for stopping by and would love to hear what you think of my cards.

Backyard Basics

Unique colors for today...

Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight and Gold!

Took me most of the morning and this is my third attempt.  I was not having any luck today.  The first was embossing, the second was stamping on gold foil, it does not work!

Here's the final:

For dessert "fussy cut".  The first two I had planned to have some. But gave it up!

The Framelits are from the Backyard Basics and Apothecary sets.  The stamps are from the "Backyard Basics" as well.

I used gold foil for the frame. And added white and black.  And added some jewels in each corner of the framing.  I used Stampin Up! markers for the coloring on the stamped image in Woild Wasabi and Daffodil Delight.

Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think!
