Fun colors this week...
     Peach Parfait
     Lucky Limeade
     Pool Party
Dessert is fancy edging of your choice!

My base is Peach Parfait, the next layer up is Pool Party, I used the Eyelet Punch on it.  In each hole I put a Jewel Pearl.

The top layer is white which I stamped in Lucky Limeade and Peach Parfait from the Raining Flowers Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

The ribbon is white from SU as well.

SplitCoastStampers gave us the challenge of using a card from our saved favorites from the site and make a card today.

I have saved alot...and forgotten to look at them later.  This was a real treat.  Some I forgot about others I could not remember why I would have saved them.

The card I chose can be seen here ~  Simply Snow Swirled ~

I do love this stamp so it was an easy one to pick and use.  My card stock is white annd Always Artichoke.  I used nestabilites and the Snowflakes embossing folder in the backgrounds.

After stamping the tree I used Glitter Dome stickers.  Then added the ribbon and bow.

Forgot to post the sketch challenge for last week.  It was unique and took a minute to figure out.  But I came out happy with the results.

I used Cajun Craze, Not Quite Navy and White card stock and dsp called Paisley Petals.  With a tiny ribbon about 1/16 of an inch.  I used Nestabilities on the fore ground and front panel.  I used a cut rectangle piece with the corners rounded to separate them.  On the top panel I used "Pocket Silhouettes" stamp set in Craft White & Cajun Craze ink.  For the flowers I stamped them on White & Cajun Craze card stock with Cajun Craze Ink from the Posey Patch and cut them out with the Nestabilities Posey Template.  I gave them dimension using a round stylus and popped a glitter element in the center of each.

SCS Featured Stamper ~ Chrissyd723 ~

Here is my take on the featured stamper for today "Chissyd723"  and her card can be seen here ~ called :  Potty Training

I changed it to flowers from the HeroArts collection.  Kept the colors in the same family...my card stock is Wisteria Wonder and White.  I used Stampin Write pens to color the images, they are Concord Grape, Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz.  My ribbon is Concord Crush.  I used the Simply Scored on the white background, tho it's not showing up in the photograph.

I have been derelict in posting.

The sketch challenge from Wednesday was a easy and nice layout ~

I used some scatch paper left over from Quick Quotes scrapbbok page for the background.  Stamped the white in Pocket Silhouettes stamp set with Black punched two circles for the bubble sentiment and layer them with dimensionals, tied on the Daffodil Delight ribbon the match the circles.  Hope I didn't leave out anything.

And one more, the color challenge.  We were to use Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral and More Mustard.  As you can see these colors work very well together.

I use Spellbinders Nestabilities for the centers and sponged the More Mustard onto the top one for shading.  Stamped the background with Raining Flowers and the sentiment is from the Precious Butterfly set.  Tied on a ribbon with a button attached.

Thanks for looking and have a non-Labor Day Day!

Color Challenge

We are to use Concord Crush, Bashful Blue and Pear Pizzazz colors today.  They work very well together.  For dessert we can use white gel pen.  I am still watching my diet so I skipped it again this week.  Yes I have finally dropped 3.5 lbs.  It's so hard!!!

I used the Dream du Jour stamp set stamped in black.  I colored it in the colors for today.  Punched it out with a round punch.  Did not like the results so I punched out the black with the large round scalloped punch and cut the top section out on the stamped and punched image.  Gives it a unique look.

I scored the white card stock for the background and added a white ribbon.  Thanks for looking and hope you like today's card.

Today is the 200th Featured Stamper over at SCS and instead of picking someone, we are to go back and pick one we may have missed or wanted to do but were not able to do.  How fun is that!  Well I don't like to chose because I want to do them all...so I went back to the very first featured stamper and picked his very first.  Yes I said "his", what fun to have a gentleman as the first featured stamper for Split Coast!

His card:  http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/76856?&cat=500&ppuser=31645
was fun.

I tweaked the layout a bit.  Kept close to the original colors.  Used a ribbon instead of gold string and I left off the sentiment to add later when I can decide how I would use this card.

My card stock is White, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait.  I inked with Concord Crush.  Colored it in with Stampin Write {Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Perfect Plum} and also used Copic (V15, BG93, YG91}.  My ribbon is Stampin Up Peach Parfait.  The stamps are HeroArts called Floral Scallop & Little Flower Circle.  Used a circle punch behind the circle stamp, but hand cut out the stamped image.

Our weather has gotten cool here, so try to stay warm and enjoy the day.

Today's featured stamper has some lovely cards. I hate having to choose one so I always do the first card posted by the stamper. This way I have a challenge and don't have to decide!  Here is my take on her card ~ Measure of a Life ~.

I used the Asian Inpired Stamp set.  Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango and Chocolate chip cardstock.  I used the moonlight technique as she did.  My ink is Cajun Craze and Tangerine Tango.  I added a clip and set it up on dimensionals, added a ribbon after inking up the outsides of the pieces.  And used a Oriental Weave embossing folder run through the Big Shot in background.

Thanks for looking and have a safe rest of this delightful Thanksgiving Week-end.
