I was looking around SCS and noticed the "CAS".  For those of you not familiar this means clean and simple.  Never really paid much attention. So checked it out and loved it.

Here's my card for today!

Lots of White (I hope) and used Early Expresso with dsp in Daffodil Delight.  The center is cut out using the Framelits Labels and I placed Pearl Jewels on either side.  I stamped in Daffodil Delight using the "Kindness Matters" stamp set.

I also added some scoring using the Simply Scoring Tool.

The featured stamper for today "naturecoastcrafter" has a nice gallery of varied cards...and just beautiful!

I choose her ~ NCCdrawingonnature ~

I am trying to get a jump start on Christmas this year and decided to use her card to make a Christmas card.  I also changed the size and colors, as per the rules!

My card stock is Olive Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake,  The ink is Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Old Olive..

The stamps are from "Chock-Full of Cheer" and "Delightful Decorations".

I used the square nestabilities to cut out the panels and added Jewels.

Have a great Sunday.

I have been in Utah at the Stampin' Up! convention.  Had a ball and got lots of fun stuff, enjoyed meeting up with old friends, meeting new ones and eating way too much!

The color challenge over on SCS is to use Real Red, Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo and use garden flowers as dessert.  I love white on white and went with clean and simple today using the colors.

I used the new Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder for the background.  The butterflies are from the Kindness Matters stamp set and cut out using Framelits Apothecary Accents.  And colored with the colors from the challenge using Stampin Write Pens.  I used Jewel Pearls on the sides for accent.

Hope you are staying cool and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Father's Day!

Today was a very slow day and I did not get to make a card until kind of late.   Today the featured stamper is someone I am not familiar with.  But loads of beautiful cards.

Her card I picked (the first of course) can be seen here called  "Tri-Floral Mother's Day card".

I changed the colors, stampes, and tweaked the layout a bit. Left off the bow too.

I used "Fabulous Florets" and "Just Believe" stamp sets from Stampin' Up!.  My ink and card stock are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.  My dsp is from Sumemr Smooches.

All the punches are Scallop Square, Square, Word Window and Modern Label.

On the dsp is used the Stripes Embossing Folder.  Added some Jewels (pearls) and done.

A great sketch today over at Splitcoaststampers.  I had fun with this card.

My base card stock is white and the dsp is from Raspberry Road Designs.  The frame around the flower image is Tangerine Tango.

The image is stamped using TSG called "Bloom.  I colored it using Stampin' Write Pens in Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Certainly Celery, Cajun Craze and Tangerine Tango.  I used the corner rounder on tow of the corners.

I assembled my card and added some Jewels.

Have a good evening.

The color challenge on SCS today are great colors...More Mustard, Early Expresso and Pool Party.  For dessert use dsp.  Which I don't need today!

I used the stamp set "Language of Friendship" to stamp the bird and flowers.  The used the punches that go with each.  2 step bird and boho blossoms punches.

The side piece is punched out using the scallop edge punch, then I applied Jewels for some bling.  Also cut a thin strip to put on that.

The stamped images are cut out using the Big Shot with the Labels Framelits.  The back piece has also been run through the strips embossing folder.

Thanks for stopping by...

Nice gallery for the featured stamper today on SplitCoastStampers.  Her name is "shellied" and I as usual went for the first upload.

Her card: Penguin by Great Impressions .

Here's my take on her card ~

I used White, Certainly Celery and Marina Mist cardstock.  The Certainly Celery is used with the Framelits Labels.  Then I sponged around the edges. The corners of the white are paper pierced.

The image is stamped with "Tote-ally Tess".  And colored using Stampin Write Pens in Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo.  I then stamped around the image with the small pieces from the set and popped it up using dimensionals. Added some Silver jewels...

hskelly

I have long admired this stampers cards.  She is very original and fresh.  Her first upload was my normal pick, as I have a hard time choosing from such a vast and delightful gallery.

"thanks so much" is her first upload and can be seen here.

I used Rich Razzleberry card stock as my base.  Then used the new dsp Summer Smooches in the background.  My other colors are Daffodil Delight and Whiper White.  The shapes are cut out using the Big Shot and the Framelits.  I also used the Ittby Bitty Shapes Punch and the Lace Ribbon Border Punch.  The flowers are curled using a stylus and Pearl Jewels are placed inside each.

The image is stamped in Bright Blossoms using and colored with Stampin Write Pens in Real Red, Lucky Limeade and Daffodil Delight.  This was cut out using the Big Shot and then trimmed on each side.

101  Airborne is the featured stamper for today at SCS.  I have been to her gallery and seen her work, she does a wonderful job.

Her first card uploaded can be seen here ~ SU - Of the Earth.

I used Real Red, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette and Bella Bleu (retired) DSP.  The stamp is from "Valentine Love" stamped in Real Red.  Jewels are put into the lover right corner of the front panel.

As you can see there are many layers and I changed her card from A2 and used 5 1/2 inch square here.
I had fun with this layout and will use it again.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and enjoy your Sunday.

The challenge for today is the make a Valentine Card with out using red or pink, not easy, but doable.

I went with White and Black and glitter!

The base black cardstock I used the Stripes embossing folder on. Then some ribbon to use as a holder for the sentiment panel (cut using Framelits).  The sentiment is from the "Valentine Love" stamp set.  I used the big shot to cut out the Glimmer paper hearts.  Added some Jewels and a quick card is done.

TFSB.

No stamps today!  Not a bit of ink on my fingers.

We are to use Basic Black, Lucky Limeade and Poppy Parade.  Our dessert is to use Embossing Folders...2.  But opted out on sweets.

I was stumped for a bit until jumping on using the Bigz Lattice Die.  This was fun and decided after assembling it and having a cup of coffee.  It only needed the pearls.  I had all kind of thoughts about puting a big flower on it.  But kept it simple.
