LittleSeaOtter is the Featured Stamper on SplitCoastStamper today.  She has some wonderful cards to pick from.  But I don't like to pick so I just go back to the very begining and case the first.

You can check out her card here called ~  Hobo Bum.

My stamps are from the Fabulous Florets Set.  The flowers are stamped with craft Melon Mambo ink and then applied embossing powder. I cut them out and popped them on with dimensionals.  I paper pierced the corners for a little more dimension.  The background dsp is from the Flirtatious series.  The other colors used are Old Olive and Pretty in Pink.  The strip is punched using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch.  Then added a button in the corner.

Have a great Sunday and take care.

Fun Sketch Challenge

My cardstock is White, Chocolate Chip and Wild Wasabi along with retired DSP afternoon tea.

I seem to be stuck on using the Strength & Hope stamp set from SU.  A portion of every set sold goes for breast cancer research.  But I do love the butterfly in this set too!  I used craft Chocolate Chip ink and Iridescent Ice embossing powder on the butterfly...the color ice does not show it but it is really sparkly and pretty.

I also used some tiny round white brads.  Will add my sentiment later.

FS201 lisaadd

I don't seem to have much time except for the FS these days!  I did need to make a card for a niece graduating from Armstrong with a degree in early education.  And I did not make it to that either!  But congratulations anyway Kandi.  I know you will be great in your profession.

Here is the card I made ~

Kandi's college colors are moroon and gold so I used the best I could find...Bravo Burgandy, along with White and Black cardstock, changed the stamp set and kept the basic layout.  Ink is White Craft.  I also used gold embossing powder.   I used the "Charming" stamp set and the graduation hat I picked up or got free from somewhere.  The congratulation stamp is from a very old set called "Suzanne's Sentiments".  Added some gold elements and assembled.

Sketch Challenge from SCS

This one went very quick and easy.  I'm not sure why.  Usually I struggle over color or something.  But this one just popped out.

I used clear embossing powder with craft ink in elegant eggplant for the stamp.  Made all the layers then assembled it all and added the little rhinestones.

One more from Studio Sketches

WT276, SC286 at SCS.  I did not get to make a card yesterday and thought I'd combine it with the sketch challenge from yesterday.  We are to use embossing powder and I used it, but it is differently not visible in the picture I took.  I seem to be using the "Studio Sketches" Stamp Set quite a bit.  I really do like it!

The base color has been run through the Big Shot with a textured plate.  I then used a piece of textured card stock.  After assembling the card I wanted to add a little something else.  So I got out the taffeta ribbon and played for about an hour trying to make it.  My fingers wanted to give me a hard time this morning, but I did not give up.
