Happy Father's Day!


Today was a very slow day and I did not get to make a card until kind of late.   Today the featured stamper is someone I am not familiar with.  But loads of beautiful cards.


Her card I picked (the first of course) can be seen here called  "Tri-Floral Mother's Day card".

I changed the colors, stampes, and tweaked the layout a bit. Left off the bow too.

I used "Fabulous Florets" and "Just Believe" stamp sets from Stampin' Up!.  My ink and card stock are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.  My dsp is from Sumemr Smooches.

All the punches are Scallop Square, Square, Word Window and Modern Label.

On the dsp is used the Stripes Embossing Folder.  Added some Jewels (pearls) and done.

I was hoping on good colors today.  And they are perfect.  A friend was telling me about a flip card, it sounded different from any flip card I had made in the past.  Checked it out yesterday.  It's from Dawns Stamping Studio.  Please go check out her delightful card!  And thanks to her for the inspiration via Patti.

The colors for SCS are Cajun Craze, Baja Breeze & Cherry Cobbler with dessert as Lucky Limeade.

Well they all are great colors and I was looking for something sweet!

My stamps are Apothecary Art and Betsy's Blossoms.  I used the  Labels Framelits to cut out the center with the big shot.  The stamping on the card base is done with VersaMark.

The backgound embossing is done using the Dots on the inside and Vintage Wallpaper on the outside.

After coloring the flowers on the front and used some Jewels for decoration.

I had fun with this card.

The color challenge on Tuesday was to use Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze, Island Indigo.

I used nestabilites to cut the center pieces.  Punched the middle after stamping in all the colors from "Charming" and "Tiny Weeny Wishes" stamp sets with the decorative label.  The back ground is scored using the Simply Scoring Tool from SU.

This is two different stamp sets.  One I picked up at an expo called "Artful Illusions", I used Versamark and clear embossing powder on the little squares.

The flowers are using the "Fabulous Florets"  from Stampin' Up!.  My colors are River Rock, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy and White, along with DSP called Paisley Petals.  My card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.
