The color challenge on SCS today are great colors...More Mustard, Early Expresso and Pool Party.  For dessert use dsp.  Which I don't need today!

I used the stamp set "Language of Friendship" to stamp the bird and flowers.  The used the punches that go with each.  2 step bird and boho blossoms punches.

The side piece is punched out using the scallop edge punch, then I applied Jewels for some bling.  Also cut a thin strip to put on that.

The stamped images are cut out using the Big Shot with the Labels Framelits.  The back piece has also been run through the strips embossing folder.

Thanks for stopping by...

My house is quite with the grands safely back in their homes and the hubby gone off to work for a few hours!  I love it!

Okay, it's color challgene Tuesday at SCS.  We are to use Kraft, Red, Yellow and green for dessert!  No mention of shades.  I went with Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Rose Red, Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz.

I seem to be using a lot of flowers lately.  And the same style of card.  Time to get out of that hole!

I scored the red layer, added a crumb cake trim punched with the scallop trim punch.  I used the Simple Soft stamp set and colored it with Stampin' Write Pens in Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red and Garden Green.  Added a grograin ribbon in Daffodil Delight enclosed in a brad to form a bow.

FS216 Quixotic

I was amazed and intrique by this gallery.  Some really wonderful cards.  I went with the first card from the Misc Creations.  I change the stamps, colors and left off the ribbon.  Her card ~ My First Christmas Card of 2007 ~ is a cute Christmas card.

I used White and Early Expresso cardstock and the dsp is Paisley Petals to be released in May made by Stampin' Up!

My stamps are "Just Buzzin By" by SU and Great Big Hug by Stampabilities (inside).  I stamped the bees using early expresso ink.  I used the Dotted Swiss Ribbon Punch for the border.  I decided not to use any color on the bees.

On the inside I used some more of the dsp and used the scallop punch.

I am going to send this to the grands in Germany.

Hope your weather is better than ours.  We are having huge storms, rain, lightening and thunder.
