Today is a cute and quick sketch on SCS.  I used a stamp I just picked up on sale.  Love those Mice!

I used White and Real Red cardstock.  The Nestabilites framelits in the background has been cut and then quartered to adhere to the sketch.  I colored the stamped image from stampabilities called "Dr Amanda" in Stampin Write Pens {Real Red, Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand} and Copics in {C1, R27, E31, E41, E40).

Thanks for stopping by...

Today the featured stamper is "pegmac71" over at splitcoaststampers.  She has some beautiful cards and I have admired many of them.  She is a great designer.

Her first upload ~ Stardust Square ~ is the card I picked to make my own.  I changed the colors, the theme, but stayed with the over all design.

The stamps I used are "Four the Holidays", "Tweet Top Hat" and "Jolly Ornaments".

The cardstock colors are White, Real Red, Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz & Vellum.  I used VersaMark and Black Embossing Powder.  I used copics on the top hat and birds {E39, E35, G17, G09, W9, 110, R27, R29}.  For the ornaments I used Real Red, Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz.  On the Vellum I used Real Red.

The Glitter domes are from Elements "Marc Richards".

FS248 (SCS) ~ Bleached Butterflies

"I wacky woman" aka "karen goguen"  this lady has some very, very pretty and detailed cards.  Not knowing which to pick I went with the first.  It's called ~ Bleached Butterflies .

This stamper stamped butterflies and used bleach...thus the title,  I instead stamped the image in black twice.  I then colored one with copics {BV25, B79, YR04, YR16, R46, Y08} and cut it out.  I scored and glued them on to the card.

My card stock is Real Red, White and Basic Black.  I put some black faceted elements in each corner.

FS205 UKJem

Though small, today featured stamper has some wonderful cards!

I went for the first and was thinking, okay I have not ever done this.  So I looked it up and decided to give it the old college try and it turned out fantastic.  It is called Crayon Resist.  You stamp and color your image (s), then go over them with a white crayon or other matching color.  Then come back and sponge with a coordinating color.  I decided to leave the leaves open (what I mean is I colored with the white so no color could get in) and liked how they turned out as well.

Well I did not think I would care for it...but it turned out really wonderful.  I will be doing this again.

You can take a look at her card ~ Crayon Resist.

I changed the colors (both ink and cardstock), used different stamp sets, tweaked the size a bit and used hardware instead of a stamp.

Ink  ~  Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Black

Stamp Set  ~  Build a Blossom, Fast & Fabulous

Cardstock  ~  Daffodil Delight, White, Old Olive

Accessories  ~  Vintage Adornment, White Crayon, Sponge, Copics {Y19, RV13, RV17}

Have a great Sunday...

Retiring Blooming' Beautiful

I have again gone for the first card done by the featured stamper today on SCS.  "debbiemom23cs" has some delightful cards.  She had done a technique I have never done.  I tried, I tried about 5 or 6 times.  I just could not do a one that gave it justice.  It is called Poppin Pastels.

So I stamped on the vellum and turned the sheet over and used copics.  I also framed the DSP and used oval nestabilities to cut it out, then cut another out of white to back it.  The red background was too much for the thin vellum.  This I popped up on dimensionals.  I changed the eyelets to pearls and used different colors.

Here is her card  ~  her first upload.   Hope you like my case of her card.

Supplies  ~

Stamp Sets  ~  Bloomin' Beautiful

CardStock  ~  Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Vellum,  DSP (Basic Grey June Bug)

                      Copics {Y08, G17, G09, R27, R37}

Today's color challenge is to use Soft Suede, Almost Amethyst & Apricot Appeal.  Let me say this gave me a huge pause.  But I finally figured, just jump in!

I inked up a new stamp I ordered from Hanko Designs that arrived on Monday.  I also used some white chalk on the Nestabilities frame to give it some dimension.

WT274 Going Buggy

I wasn't going to play today. Still trying to catch up being out last week. But the paper is a calling! Today is "Going Buggy" with ways to use it. And that means bugs or butterflies of any sort. I got this stamp a few weeks back and have been itching to use it, so-o-o-o.

I stamped it twice and colored it with copics, then used atyouSpica twinkling pens on top of the copic color on the second stamped image.  Cut them out and popped them on top for dimension.

It doesn't show in the photo, but it
has nice a glitter coating.

I put some new (to me) Glitter Dome Crystal Stickers in the 4 corners.

I like how it finished up and hope you do too.
