I've been gone.  Had fun, but glad to be back and making cards too!

Fun fall colors picked for today on SCS.  I used Versamark and Clear embossing powder to stamp on the colors from the "Mixed Bunch" stamp set for today's challenge.  Midnight Muse, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie are the delightful colors for today.  I then punched them out using the Blossom Punch.  Afterward I used a ball stylus on the paper piercing pad to form the flowers.

My background is the Woodgrain embossing folder in White and placed on white cardstock.

The sentiment is stamped in Cajun Craze and I quickly applied clear embossing powder before it could get dry.  It worked though hard to see in my photo.

The sentiment is cut out using Stampin' Up!'s new Framelits called Window Frame.

SC289

Neat sketch out today from SCS.

Here's my take on it!

I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set and stamped them using Old Olive ink on Daffodil Delight cadstock.  I then punched them out using the Punch Blossom.  I then took each flower and used a large ball stylus to roll the flower after cutting into each a little farther so each petal could be rolled out more for effect.  Glued them together and used SU Silver Glass Glitter for the center of the flower..

The swirl in the background is cut out using the sizzix Decorative Accent w/ flower.  I cut it down to fit better.  I fussy colored the edges to give them more dimension.  The DSP is from the Floral District Set.  I used Rich Razzleberry behind the dsp.

Added some jewels and I'm done.

Have a good one.

Unique, but good working colors today...Pacific Point, Certainly Celery & Crumb Cake.

I also incorporated yesterday's challenge to use paper piercing...in each corner.

The flower has been stamped with craft ink, then sprinkled with glassy glaze enamel and heat set using the Mixed Bunch stamp set.  I then punched it out using the Punch Blossom.  I then curled each petal for dimension.

The three layers are cut out using the Big Shot with the Framelits Labels.  The sentiment is from the Language of Friendship.

TFL and have a terrific day.

One Color/No Color

That is the challenge!

We are to use one color for the stamp and sentiment.  No coloring in.  We are allowed to use another color if we need or want to.

I used the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder for the background.  Stamped my flower in Daffodil Delight from the Mixed Bunch stamp set.  Used a stylus on the back to curl and crinkle it a bit.  The stamped the sentiment in Daffodil Delight from the Cottage Garden stamp set.  I used Early Expresso for the card stock base.

Thanks for stopping by!
