The colors today are Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze and Tempting Turquoise. Unique combination.
I think they work okay, once I got into playing with them.
The middle flower in stamped in Craft Cajun Craze ink and I used Clear Embossing Powder with heat. You can't tell in the picture, but it is nice and glossy. The next layer is random stamping from the Flower Fest set in Cajun Craze on Tempting Turquoise. I used Nestabilities Labels Two to cut that layer and the next out (Cajun Craze).
The next layer is Crumb Cake designer series paper. The layer is scored in squares using the Simply Scoring Tool from SU. I used Crumb Cake for the base card stock. In each corner is a brad from Spare-Parts colored with Tempting Turquoise.
Today our colors over on SCS are Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo and neutrals of choice. Also dessert is butterflies. I am tired of dieting and added some.
I used the stamp sets "Flower Fest" and "Precious Butterflies" for this card. On the Very Vanilla VersaMark was stamped and I used Melon Mambo embossing powder. Tho by the photo you can't see it. I cut it out and popped it on with dimensionals. I also cut out the butterflies and used Jewels in the center for their body.
I used today's featured stamper's first card she ever uploaded as my pick for today.
I used the stamp set Flower Fest just out by Stampin Up. I have inked it up several times and like it. I used versamark and then clear embossing powder on the butterfly and big flower. The small little rose I used white embossing powder on in hopes of a different look.
It is only slightly different in person. Pictures do show the pretty glossy on them of course.
The used a sponge in Cajun Craze and Peach Parfait for the background. I attached a ribbon with two knots in it and assembled. If you want to check out her card... called "I've Got the Blues" check it out here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/52843?&cat=500&ppuser=505
Thanks for stopping by and keep cool!
The colors for today are a delight, great spring colors! So saffron, Pretty in Pink and Pear Pizzazz. We are to use punches for dessert and I did because I am tired I watching what I eat and not loosing an ounce!
I used White, Pretty in Pink and So Saffron card stock. I embossed the base white with the Quickutz "Vines" folder. On the next layer I stamped using the new "Flower Fest" in the summer mini in Pretty in Pink along with Pear Pizzazz and popping it on with dimensionals. I used the abstract flower punch on the side of the paper. I then stamped and punched out the butterfly using the same stamp set "Flower Fest" and the butterfly punch and adding some pearls (jewels). Attached a ribbon with a simple knot and done.
I like it, it's so soft and delicate. TFL and have a great day!
