Featured Stamper "kthaman"

Today the featured stamper has a really lovely and large gallery to pick from.  As usual I went with the first to save trying to pick from so many lovely cards to try and case.

I used Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry card stock.


I inked the image using VersaMark and sprinkle with Black Embossing Powder, then heat embossed, using the "Easy Events" stamp set on water color paper.  I used  Stampin Write pens in Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry to color the cupcake and stand.  The water color paper and Daffodil Delight are cut out using the Labels Framelets. 

I used the Eyelet Border Punch for the edging after stamping in VersaMark with Happy Birthday using the "Create a Cupcake" stamp set.

Last Wednesday I made a sample for the Sketch Challenge for SCS.  Then forgot to post it!  My life has been chaos lately and I am hoping it will settle down soon.

My card ~

I had fun with this one...Needed a card as you can tell for a belated birthday and this just sort of popped into my head.

I used the Easy Events stamp set stamped in black.  Colored them with Stampin Write Pens in:  More Mustard, Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, Garden Green, Chocolate Chip, Pacific Point, River Rock, Soft Suede & Crumb Cake.

Framed them in Pacific Point.  Scored the base card with Simply Scoring Tool.  Punched out 1/2 inch round punch and used bitty buttons tied on with floss.

The color challenge today over on split coast stampers is to use Real Red, Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight.  Dessert is to make it school themed.  I skipped dessert. 

After much thought this design popped into my head.  To make the little card on top of the big card.  I had seen something similar to it someplace long ago!  Sorry I can't give any credit to wherever it was seen.

I stamped the little duck image from the Easy Events stamp set.  Colored it with Daffodil Delight, the bill in More Mustard, and the umbrella in Night of Navy and Real Red.  I off set the fold in the card to put in the edging punched with the abstract flower.  Scored the white background with the new Simply Scored Scoring Board.  Used Daffodil Delight Ribbon after popping it up on dimensionals.
