FS289 "mamamostamps"

Delightful gallery for the featured stamper today over at SCS.

As usual went with the first card (actual second upload), which she had two together and I made mine a combination of them both.

Her card can be seen here:  baroque motifs .

I used the Elements of Style stamp set, with Cajun Craze and VersaMark ink on White and Crumb Cake card stock.  The middle layer is Cajun Craze.  The corners are rounded using the corner rounder punch and added some jewels.

This one is from Friday and Thursday (I know backwards).  I made this for the Free for all Friday and made in Monochromatic from Thursdays challenge.

I used Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake and White paper, Framelits Labels for the top, The bow is Chocolate Chip Ribbon.

My stamp sets are Apothecary Art and Elements of Style.  with Elements added on the side.

Oh and Craft White ink and Chocolate Chip Classic.

FS "morningstar47" at SCS

Today the featured stamper is "morningstar47"  with some very pretty cards to pick from.

I picked her card  ~  Happiness  ~ to case.  Her first upload!

I changed the stamps used, the colors and a different type ribbon.

On the dsp I scored it, it's from the Paisley Petals set.  The card stock is Not Quite Navy and White cut with Nestabilities {labels four and fourteen}.  I used the stamp sets "Pocket Silhouettes" and "Elements of Style" stamped in Cajun Craze and Not Quite Navy.  The ribbon is knotted and added with dots.  I put elements in each corner.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Today we are to use River Rock, Basic Grey and Whisper White.  Dessert option is a background stamp.

These colors are great together.  Soft and quiet.  I went with simple and clean.

I stamped the image in Basic Grey from the Elements of Style, then colored with River Rock in the shaded areas.  Used the Paper Piercing in the corners.  Then bordered the card with Basic Grey and River Rock.

I am happy with how the card turned out and hope you like it too!

Elements of Style

Here is the card I created for the color challenge on split coast stampers for today.  We are to use Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron and to use grids as dessert.

I was not real happy with my card.  My hubby got home and looked at it and said yes it needed something else.  Then he piped up and said how about some of the puff stuff.  I said that was outdated I thought.  Then it hit me
crystal effects might work.

This one is okay, I probably am not going to be happy today.  Somedays are turkey days!  All in all I think had I used copics I would have been happier with my coloring.
